Metro Boomin


Metro Boomin, a 29-year-old American music producer and DJ, has had major impact on what modern hip-hop and trap sounds like. His production includes the world’s biggest rap hits out of which several dozen have reached the Billboard Top 100 chart yearly. Metro Boomin has collaborated with artists such as Drake, Kanye West, Future, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Migos, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa. The list could go on.

The producer reached his first Billboard HOT 100 chart position in 2013 with rapper Future‘s song “Karate Chop” and has been gaining momentum ever since. The very same year, Metro Boomin released his debut mixtape “19 & Boomin” which featured many of the hottest names in the game, such as Gucci Mane, Future, Young Thug and Curren$y. Once ILOVEMAKONNEN’s song “Tuesday” featuring Drake, produced by Metro Boomin, went viral in 2014, his place among hip hop royalty was sealed. In 2015, he produced seven out of the eleven songs on Drake and Future’sWhat A Time To Be Alive” joint album. The rise from a business management student to the most sought-after music producer in the industry has been fast!

During his almost ten-year career, Metro Boomin has released two solo albums in addition to numerous successful joint albums with rap’s elite. The two solo albums Not All Heroes Wear Capes” released in 2018 and Heroes & Villains” in 2022 reached both number one on the Official US Album Chart. Metro Boomin has produced the following hits: Migos “Bad and Boujee”, Drake featuring Future “Jumpman”, Future featuring The Weeknd “Low Life”, Post Malone featuring Quavo “Congratulations”, Future “Mask Off”, and 21Savage “Bank Account”.

In April, Metro Boomin performed in front of 80,000 people at Coachella bringing the hottest names of the game on stage with him.
