Here you’ll find recommended routes to the festival area. 💛

The area around Ratina Stadium is mostly paved or otherwise even-surfaced, with some hilly sections. The stadium field is entirely a standing area with no seating available. We recommend being patient and allowing extra time for moving around, as the walkways may occasionally become crowded with festivalgoers.

The festival’s safety team consists of hundreds of professionals, including security staff, first aid personnel, and Miten menee support staff trained in mental health, substance use, and sexual violence response. They are always ready to help — and even if you don’t see them immediately, they are stationed throughout the festival area. If you need assistance, you can find safety team members near the stages, the first aid tent, and the entrance gates.

STADIUM STAGE ACCESSIBLE VIEWING PLATFORM

When arriving through the Laukontori entrance and crossing Laukonsilta (Laukko Bridge), the best way to access the STADIUM STAGE ACCESSIBLE VIEWING PLATFORM is to turn left and continue straight toward the main Ratina gates. You’ll find the accessible viewing platform near the Ratina entrance, on the upper level of the stadium. The platform is marked with the international wheelchair symbol.

This route is asphalt-paved and has no steep inclines or declines.

STADIUM STAGE FLOOR

When arriving through the Laukontori entrance and crossing the bridge, the best route to the STADIUM STAGE FLOOR is to turn left and go down the ramp. Once at the bottom, head toward the Street Stage, and you’ll see an underpass tunnel on your right. Go through the tunnel to access the stadium floor.

This route is asphalt-paved but includes a slightly steeper ramp (incline/decline).

When arriving through the Laukontori entrance and crossing the bridge, the best way to reach the PARK STAGE is to turn right onto Laukonpolku path. As you continue forward, you’ll see the Park Stage ahead of you.

This route is asphalt-paved and features a gentle incline/decline.

STREET STAGE

When arriving through the Laukontori entrance and crossing the bridge, the easiest route to the STREET STAGE is to turn left and go down the ramp. Once you reach the bottom, turn right, and the Street Stage will be at the end of the riverside path.

This route is asphalt-paved and has a slightly steeper ramp (incline/decline).

FOOD COURT

After entering through Laukontori and crossing the bridge, the best way to reach the FOOD COURT is to turn left, and then right behind the curved stand section of the stadium. You’ll see the Food Court ahead, where Blockfest’s food vendors are located.

This route is asphalt-paved and has no steep inclines or declines.

DOWNTOWN

From the Laukontori entrance, cross the bridge and turn left, then go down the ramp. At the bottom, turn right, and you’ll see the PopUp booths.

This route is asphalt-paved and includes a slightly steeper ramp (incline/decline).

LEAVING THE FESTIVAL AREA

When leaving the festival area, be prepared for possible congestion. Especially right after performances end, particularly after the final shows of the evening, many visitors tend to head for the exits at the same time, which can cause temporary crowding along the walkways.
