Festival area

The festival area consists of the Ratina Stadium in the heart of Tampere and the scenic Ratinanniemi park. There are three stages in the festival area, the largest of which is the Stadium Stage. Festival guests can enjoy a variety of restaurants, bar areas, lounge areas, and other activities within the festival area.

Blockfest Food Court offers different dining options to cater various tastes. All food vendors offer at least one vegetarian or vegan dish. Tip of the day! The stands next to the Food Court are open for you to enjoy. So, grab a meal, sit down, and enjoy the gigs at Stadium Stage! As Blockfest is for adults only, you may freely move around the festival area with a drink in hand. Various bars within the festival area are sure to quench any thirst!

The festival area has recycling points for all waste. Please use the bins provided and separate your normal waste, biodegradable waste, and plastic waste.

Please note, videographers and photographers move around the festival area. They record and shoot photos for marketing purposes.

FOOD COURT

We acknowledge our impact to the environment and consciously work towards sustainability. We strive to continuously take big and smaller steps towards our goal of a sustainable festival and ensure both our partners and visitors share the same goal. All cutlery and dishes used at Blockfest 2023 are biodegradable.

EXCLUSIVE AREA (Exclusive ticket holders only)

The cozy and elevated Exclusive Area at Blockfest is positioned with a prime view directly next to the main stage. The unique ambiance of the area, coupled with its exceptional stadion location, elevates the festival experience to a level rarely seen in Finland’s festival scene. Easy entry and access to private bars and restroom facilities gives you more time to enjoy the most important things when being at a festival.

DRINKS

As Blockfest is for adults only, you may freely move around the festival area with a drink in hand. Various bars within the festival area are sure to quench any thirst! The drink selection includes wine, cocktails, and many more! Fresh, non-alcoholic drinks are available and a specific bar serving only non-alcoholic drinks can be found in the vicinity of HAPPEE area, near the Street Stage.

BOTTLE DEPOSIT

Bottle deposit fee is added to all drink prices.

With bottle deposits we want to ensure all drink containers are disposed of responsibly to keep the festival area clean🫶

WATER

You are allowed to bring on empty, max. 0,5 l, see-through bottle to the area (no glass). The festival area has separate water points where you can fill up your bottle💧 Water points are marked in the area map (published closer to the event).
