Eve, hailing from Philadelphia, is a rapper and actress best known for her hits like ‘Who’s That Girl?’, ‘Gangsta Lovin’, ‘Tambourine’, and her Grammy-winning collaboration “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani. Eve, also known as E-V-E, has had a highly successful music career, selling millions of albums worldwide. In 2003, she became the star of her own TV show, ‘Eve’.
Eve has released four studio albums. Her debut studio album, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady (1999), topped the Billboard 200 chart and included hit singles “What Ya Want” (feat. Nokio), “Love Is Blind”, and “Gotta Man”. That same year, she was featured on The Roots’ Grammy-winning single “You Got Me” and Missy Elliott’s single “Hot Boyz”.
Eve’s second studio album, Scorpion (2001), was released with similar success. Its lead single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” (feat. Gwen Stefani) peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned her first Grammy Award.
